Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Accountant to lead our finance function in Doha. This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective financial management across all company operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and payroll
• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and company policies
• Direct month-end and year-end closing processes
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making
• Coordinate and manage external and internal audit processes
• Strengthen internal controls and implement best practices in financial management
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly preferred
• Minimum of 8–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and construction industry accounting practices
• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and compliance
• Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
