Chief Engineer- Maintenance

We are looking for Maintenance professional with 25 years of experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical and Fertilizer Industry.

Remotely support of Maintenance Planning of rotating equipment and static equipment.Create job packages (work packs) Job procedure/Standard Maintenance procedures (SMP) of static and rotating equipment.Plan all the maintenance activities such as preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance and record history of maintenance activity.Understand/review P&ID, Isometric Drawing, Equipment drawing, Civil Foundation Drawing, 3-D Model, Plot Plan, Lay out, Equipment GA drawing etc.Working on PM & MM modules of SAP to maintain the equipment history, material reservation, Consumption, Master data management, Preparing task lists, maintenance items/ maintenance plan, task list enhancement, work order planning etc.Piping knowledge: Pipe fabrication/erection according to P&ID and Isometric drawing, support drawings, piping specs etc.Reliability management, Maintenance strategy review/preparation.Provide technical support for maintenance optimisation, Root Cause Analysis, RCM.Managing multi-functional team and actively involve in developing & mentoring team members.Good Knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT) is a must.


Work Experience

  • Very good understanding and in-depth knowledge about Static and Rotary equipment (Heat Exchangers, Vessels, Towers, Columns, Reactors, Pumps, Compressor and Turbines etc.)
  • Very good understanding and in-depth knowledge about Routine and Shutdown/Turnaround Maintenance
  • Good Knowledge in Planning and scheduling of Work orders in SAP (PM and MM modules) including development of work packs.
  • Good Knowledge in Scheduling tools such as Primavera/MS Projects to develop routine planning schedules and shutdown/turnaround integrated schedules.
  • Good Experience in Maintenance cost estimation/budgeting to facilitate the Maintenance budget preparation
  • Good Understanding of constraints related to maintenance planning and execution.
  • Review junior employee work deliverables to ensure that they are matching with customer quality requirements.
  • Lead the technical discussion with customer and represent the team for new engagements.
  • Review of the existing maintenance execution processes and procedures to identify the opportunities for improvement.
  • Training of new hires and existing team members to ensure they are ready for deployment
  • Very good communication and coordination skills
  • Hands-on experience on diagnosis, repair and overhaul of various types of rotating equipment such as steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors (vertically split and horizontally split), reciprocating compressors, electric generators, electric motors, gearboxes, single and multistage pumps, expanders, agitators, extruders, pelletizers, feeders/crushers etc.
  • Working knowledge of Static Equipment: Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Reactors, Boilers, Cooling towers, Tank farm equipment (storage tanks), Valves and Piping.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, good interpersonal skills and team working skills are essential.
  • Good knowledge of Engineering and Maintenance processes.
  • Ability to develop strategy and manage change.
  • Analytical thinking ability for planning and troubleshooting.
