Chief Human Resource Officer

CHRO will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the HR function. This includes developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs that support the organization's business goals. The role demands a proactive, results-oriented approach and a deep understanding of employment law and best practice.

The CHRO will lead and mentor a high-performing HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the function. They will also be responsible for managing the HR budget and ensuring effective resource allocation.

Furthermore, the CHRO will be a key player in developing and implementing talent management strategies, including recruitment, succession planning, performance management, and employee development. They will champion diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives and ensure a fair and inclusive workplace for all employees.

What are The Roles and Responsibilities of The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)?

  • Develop and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and talent management.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems and processes.
  • Manage employee relations to ensure a fair and inclusive workplace.
  • Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage the HR budget and resources effectively.
  • Develop and implement learning and development programs.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to the executive team and other senior leaders.
  • Evaluate HR technology and implement process improvements.
  • Oversee HR data analytics and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about best practices and trends in human resources.

Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Requirements and Qualifications.

  • Master's degree in HR, MSW, business administration, or organizational psychology preferred.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in a senior HR leadership role, ideally as a CHRO or equivalent
  • SPHR, SHRM - SCP qualified or equivalent professional senior level qualification.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Deep understanding of employment law and best practices in HR.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Experience with HRMS systems and data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
