On behalf of a leading, diversified consumer group with a significant regional footprint, we are conducting an executive search for a Chief Operating Officer (COO).
This is a leadership role
with broad operational, commercial, and transformation responsibility across a complex, multi-category portfolio. The COO will partner closely with the Group CEO and senior leadership to drive execution excellence, performance discipline, and sustainable growth.
The role is designed for a hands-on, high-impact operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and can translate strategy into results at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership

Own and drive end-to-end operational performance across multiple business units

Translate group strategy into clear execution plans, KPIs, and delivery roadmaps

Act as a key thought partner to the Group CEO on performance, risk, and priorities
P&L & Performance Management

Full accountability for operational P&L delivery

Drive revenue growth, margin optimization, cost discipline, and working capital efficiency

Establish rigorous performance cadence, dashboards, and governance
Multi-Business & Multi-Market Oversight

Lead operations across
diverse categories, formats, and geographies

Ensure consistency in operating models while allowing local market agility

Support expansion, turnaround, and optimization initiatives where required
Transformation & Scale

Lead large-scale operational transformation programs

Improve processes, systems, and ways of working

Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Technology

Candidate Profile
Experience
-
Proven senior leadership experience as COO, EVP, MD, or equivalent

Track record of managing large, complex operations with full P&L ownership

Experience across retail, consumer, FMCG, or multi-category businesses strongly preferred

Exposure to multi-country or regional operations is essential
