Compensation:

Monthly salary range : SAR 90,000 – 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.


Role Overview

We are a semi-government organization operating in the education sector, seeking a highly accomplished executive leader to join our leadership team as a Chief Operations & Business Services Officer.

The role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, large-scale transformation, and sustainable growth within a regulated, mission-driven educational environment. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership to elevate service delivery, efficiency, and stakeholder value.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and execute enterprise-wide operations and business services strategies in alignment with national education objectives and organizational priorities.
  2. Drive digital transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions and shared services/BPO models, to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
  3. Oversee large-scale programs and cross-functional teams, ensuring operational excellence and measurable outcomes.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, regulators, and private sector partners.
  5. Lead strategic partnerships, institutional collaborations, and expansion initiatives supporting the education ecosystem.
  6. Ensure strong governance, compliance, and operational controls in line with semi-government and regulatory requirements.
  7. Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve customer (student, educator, and institutional) experience and organizational performance.
  8. Support M&A, integration, and transformation initiatives where applicable.
  9. Qualifications & Experience
  10. Proven executive leadership experience in operations, business services, or transformation roles within large, complex organizations.
  11. Experience working in semi-government, government, education, or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.
  12. Demonstrated success in scaling operations, leading change, and delivering enterprise-level transformation initiatives.
  13. Strong stakeholder management capabilities across public and private sectors.
  14. Solid understanding of financial management, operational governance, and performance optimization.


Education

Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.

Executive education from leading global institutions is highly desirable.
