Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Role Overview
We are looking for a CPO who can simplify complex regulatory and risk requirements into intuitive, user-friendly products — without compromising compliance or performance.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for BNPL, lending, and financial service offerings.
  • Prioritize features based on user needs, market research, revenue potential, and business goals.
  • Identify new opportunities for product expansion, customer segments, and strategic initiatives.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

  • Lead the entire product lifecycle—from ideation, research, design, and development to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Break down requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product releases while maintaining quality and functional excellence.

UI/UX Optimization

  • Oversee UX research, design audits, and continuous improvement of app and web interfaces.
  • Ensure user flows are intuitive, accessible, and optimized for high conversion and engagement.
  • Work closely with designers to maintain a consistent and high-quality user experience.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and performance.
  • Work with operations, customer support, and risk teams to align product functionality with business operations.
  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure products meet regulatory and security standards.

Data-Driven Product Decisions

  • Use analytics, A/B testing, customer insights, and market intelligence to inform product decisions.
  • Track product KPIs and success metrics, continuously improving performance and outcomes.
  • Ensure product decisions align with unit economics, customer lifetime value, and lending profitability.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Manage product managers, designers, and cross-functional contributors.
  • Communicate product plans, progress, and strategy to leadership and internal teams.
  • Drive alignment between product, engineering, marketing, and senior management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in fintech, payments, lending, or mobile-first consumer products.
  • Proven success in building and scaling digital products from concept to launch.
  • Strong understanding of BNPL workflows, digital lending UX, payments, and risk flows.
  • Experience in creating product roadmaps, writing BRDs/PRDs, and managing agile development cycles.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for mobile apps and web platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using product analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
