Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
• Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
• Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards in compliance with licensing regulations
• Assist with classroom or daycare activities that support childhood development goals

Requirements

• Experience working with children preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
• Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Strong skills in behavior management and creating inclusive environments for all children
• Ability to handle the physical demands of childcare including lifting infants and toddlers and engaging in active play
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members

Pay: $20.98 - $25.26 per hour
