CISCO Configuration & Integration Engineer (Assignment Based)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in configuring and managing Cisco network devices (FTD, FMC, Nexus, OLT, ONT, Access Switches, APs).
• Strong knowledge of firewall policies, ACP rules, and NAT configurations.
• Experience in deploying and managing networks in high-availability (HA) environments.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery (DR) site setup and redundant path configuration.
• Understanding of internationally recognized IT security standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities / Responsibility Matrix

• Configure Cisco FTD, integrate it with FMC, and ensure compliance with NRTC/Safe City recommendations.
• Implement restricted ACP rules and NAT policies.
• Configure Nexus switches and ensure redundant paths are available for the DR site, OLT, access switches, Hikvision, and other related equipment.
• Configure OLT and ONT devices.
• Configure access switches for the assigned pool.
• Configure access points (APs) and ensure wireless user traffic remains isolated from LAN/WAN networks.

Deliverables

• Complete configuration of all Cisco equipment as per approved design and standards.
• End-to-end technical support and assistance throughout deployment.
