Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Attorney based in Dallas, TX.

The attorney will independently manage a broad range of civil matters and will be responsible for:

• Handling a diverse civil caseload from intake through resolution
• Conducting comprehensive legal research
• Drafting, reviewing, and revising pleadings, motions, and legal documents
• Providing clear, strategic legal advice to clients
• Representing clients in hearings, negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings
• Negotiating settlements and developing effective case strategies
• Maintaining consistent and professional communication with clients
• Collaborating with legal staff and attorneys to support firm-wide objectives

This role is best suited for an experienced civil practitioner who is confident working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance multiple complex cases.

In addition, this role requires the attorney to participate directly in client intake and consultations, with the ability to:

• Confidently assess legal issues during intake and initial consultations
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients of varying backgrounds
• Demonstrate high emotional intelligence (EQ) when handling sensitive or high-stress client situations
• Demonstrate high analytical intelligence (IQ) to quickly evaluate case merit, risks, and strategy during intake
• Convert consultations into actionable legal plans while maintaining professionalism and client trust

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing Civil Law
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal matters effectively and strategically
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas (required)
• California Bar License is a strong plus
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus
• Proven ability to conduct client intake and consultations with high EQ and high IQ

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
