Civil Draughtsman

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Draughtsman who will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of high-rise construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings for high-rise building projects, including structural foundations, floors etc.
• Create 2D and 3D models of civil and structural elements using advanced CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) software.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to translate conceptual designs into practical, construction-ready drawings.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, local regulations, and industry standards for high-rise structures.
• Review and revise design plans as necessary based on client feedback, engineering requirements, or construction challenges.
• Produce site plans, layout drawings, and detailing for various phases of the project, including excavation, foundation work, and superstructure development.
• Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities and material take-offs based on design drawings.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure that construction is carried out according to the design specifications.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure that any design changes or revisions are reflected in the drawings and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the construction industry, with specific experience in high-rise building projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar). Experience in 3D modeling and BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and high-rise building design requirements.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when preparing technical drawings.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
