Civil Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

*Please Note: Candidates with fit-out experience will only be preferred.

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Interior Fit-Out team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and executing interior fit-out projects in the UAE, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion in line with approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities related to interior fit-out works.
• Ensure construction works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate on-site work sequences to ensure smooth and efficient progress.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure required quality standards are consistently maintained.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, and site labor for proper task execution.
• Liaise with designers, consultants, and the Project Engineer to obtain clarifications on drawings and technical details.
• Assist in resolving minor site-related issues and promptly escalate major concerns to the Project Engineer.

Technical Support (Site-Based)

• Interpret construction drawings and provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them in a timely manner.
• Assist in material inspections and ensure materials comply with project specifications and approvals.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to site safety regulations and company safety procedures.
• Conduct routine site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Report unsafe practices and support implementation of corrective actions on site.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site records, including work progress reports and manpower deployment.
• Assist in preparing site documentation such as inspection requests, checklists, and work completion reports.
• Provide regular site progress updates to the Project Engineer.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in interior fit-out projects within the UAE.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
