Job Summary

The Civil Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender documentation for civil construction projects. The role focuses primarily on civil works such as earthworks, roads, utilities, concrete works, and associated infrastructure. The estimator analyzes drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop competitive and realistic project cost proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for civil works
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for civil construction activities
• Develop cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare and submit tender pricing, clarifications, and value engineering proposals
• Identify risks, assumptions, exclusions, and opportunities in estimates
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
• Assist in preparing project budgets and cost control baselines
• Maintain historical cost data and rate analysis for civil works
• Support post-tender clarifications and negotiations
• Participate in site visits when required to assess scope and constraints

• Earthworks and excavation
• Roads, pavements, and infrastructure works
• Concrete works (foundations, slabs, retaining walls)
• Drainage, sewerage, and water pipelines
• Utilities and external works
• Temporary works related to civil construction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
