Job Title: Civil Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Civil Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising civil and structural works at project sites to ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and workers to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities, including excavation, formwork, concrete works, masonry, and finishing.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Project Engineer, QA/QC, and HSE teams to maintain compliance with project and safety requirements.
- Plan, schedule, and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.
- Inspect work progress and quality, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Identify and report discrepancies or issues in drawings or site conditions to the concerned engineer for resolution.
- Maintain daily site reports, manpower logs, and progress records.
- Supervise subcontractors’ performance and verify work completion as per project requirements.
- Ensure that all site activities are executed with proper safety measures and housekeeping.
- Support the Project Manager and Engineers in material take-off and quantity verification.
- Assist in conducting inspections with consultants and clients for work approval.
- Participate in weekly progress meetings and contribute to resolving site-related challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction supervision, preferably in infrastructure, building, or marine projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, methods, and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Familiarity with quality and safety standards (ISO, OSHA).
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- UAE/GCC experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with both direct labor and subcontractors.
Working Conditions:
- Site-based position; requires regular field supervision.
- Work may involve extended hours based on project deadlines.
- Must adhere to company and client safety policies at all times.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
