Job Summary
The Client Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting high-quality leads into long-term clients for our digital marketing services. This role requires a full-cycle sales expert who can own the end-to-end process—from lead generation and outreach to pitching solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals—while consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the digital marketing landscape, and has proven success in B2B sales targeting North American and Australian markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Develop and execute strategies to identify potential clients using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), email outreach, cold calling, and industry databases. Focus on businesses in the USA, Canada, and Australia that align with our service offerings.
- Outreach and Relationship Building: Craft personalized pitches, conduct discovery calls, and nurture leads through multi-channel communication (email, phone, video demos) to build rapport and qualify opportunities.
- Sales Process Execution: Manage the full sales funnel, including presenting customized digital marketing proposals, demonstrating ROI through case studies and metrics, handling objections, and negotiating contracts to secure deals.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly KPIs, such as number of qualified leads, conversion rates, and revenue targets set by the company. Track performance using sales analytics and report on pipeline health.
- Market Research and Strategy: Stay updated on digital marketing trends, competitor activities, and client pain points in target regions. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, account managers) to refine acquisition strategies and create compelling collateral.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and deals in our CRM system to ensure seamless handoffs to account management post-closure.
- Networking and Events: Represent the company at virtual/in-person industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to generate referrals and partnerships.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in B2B sales or business development, with a proven track record in client acquisition for digital marketing, advertising, or SaaS services. Experience selling to clients in the USA, Canada, or Australia is highly preferred.
- Expertise in full-cycle sales processes, from cold outreach to deal closure.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services and how to articulate value propositions (e.g., ROI from SEO/PPC campaigns).
- Proficiency in sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn, HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo) and outbound techniques (email sequences, A/B testing for campaigns).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to handle high-volume outreach while maintaining personalization.
- Results-oriented mindset with a history of meeting/exceeding targets (e.g., provide examples of quota attainment in past roles).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Other: Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setup. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and optimize strategies.
