Key Responsibilities – Client Retention Specialist

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure high satisfaction and long-term retention
  • Proactively engage customers approaching renewal to prevent churn and address concerns in advance
  • Identify at-risk accounts and implement effective retention strategies to minimize cancellations
  • Conduct regular follow-ups through calls, emails, and CRM touchpoints
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable upgrades or add-on services
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Meet assigned retention, renewal, and upsell targets
  • Handle objections, complaints, and service-related issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate with Technical and Operations teams to resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, renewals, and upsells in the CRM
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights with management for service improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and communication standards
  • Prepare periodic reports on retention performance, churn rates, and upsell revenue
