Posting Description:
Premium and Pro-rata Analyst/Consultant for Aon Reinsurance Client Services. In this role, you will work closely with the reinsurance team to provide outstanding client services experience in the global reinsurance industry. Provide niche skills and industry expertise to the management of all complex and routine premium and pro rata responsibilities for Aon’s clients’ portfolios. Deliver high quality service to clients while ensuring this is delivered to pre-defined standards. Professionally and efficiently service premium and pro rata activity on behalf of ceding companies and reinsurers.

Receive and action client’s accounting instructions in a timely manner and communicate information as vital to acquire timely agreement.

Process accounts and premiums transactions within established times, monitoring and pursuing the timeliness of reports and remittances submitted by the transferring entities, if assigned.

Produce accurate client/reinsurer documentation associated with the respective processes within specified turnaround times.

Must develop strong understanding of Aon’s proprietary system (GRIDS) and process premiums and accounts within the suite of applications.

Connect with Client Service advocates, colleagues, and other operating units to resolve issues, answer questions, and aid.

Review files regularly and maintain accurate and updated records of all correspondence and reports.

Research and reconcile accounting information using various systems and resources.

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of accounting files for ceding companies.

Collaborate with senior team members or stakeholders to identify and offer solutions to problems and disputes.

Prepare/Review sliding scale commissions, profit commissions, and retrospective premium adjustments in accordance with contract terms and transmit for client service advocate’s approval.

Process Cash Loss Advances (CLA) within the required timeframe consistent with the provisions of the contract.

Supervise Forex to assure the accurate currency equivalent settled by the client is settled with the bureau.

Help foster and maintain a productive working relationship between ceding company and its reinsurers.

Work with global Aon teams.

Communicate as the need arises assigned accounts to markets, third parties and service providers, in conjunction with a Client Service advocate as appropriate.

Manage and promptly resolve client, reinsurer, bureau market queries and other internal issues, seeking assistance when needed and raising if required.

Understand a client’s accounts, calculations, and their requirements.

Perform Second Pair of Eyes (SPOE) checks at stages wherever required and function as an approved authorizer as appropriate.

Participate and support manager in team meetings and activities to share opinions, ideas, knowledge, and solutions.

Maintain effective working relationships across Aon Client Services and participate in initiatives or supply where required to deliver outcomes.

Enforce to all standardized Aon India policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements.

Make observations and recommendations supplying to the operational process and building efficiencies.

Must be a university graduate in any stream.

Additional professional qualifications/certifications preferred.

Up to 5 years of experience and solid understanding in insurance/reinsurance preferred.
