Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Clinic/ Patient Support Specialist to join our team. This is a telecommuting role where you will be the first point of contact for our US patients and clinical staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic from a remote setting. Your primary responsibility will be to manage patient communications and perform all administrative duties remotely, playing a crucial part in delivering high-quality healthcare.
This is a night shift position, supporting our US-based operations from 5:30 PM India Time to 2:00 AM India Time. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive independently in a virtual work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remote Communication & Patient Management:
- Serve as the first point of contact, handling all incoming and outgoing patient and clinical staff communications via phone, email, and other virtual channels.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments while managing the clinic's master calendar.
- Update and maintain accurate patient records in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Administrative & Coordination Duties:
- Handle a variety of clerical tasks, including data entry and preparing documents and reports, all performed remotely.
- Assist with billing inquiries and process payments, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential.
- Act as a key liaison between patients, doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Proactively address and resolve issues related to scheduling, patient inquiries, or clinic operations.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with all relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Provide clear and concise instructions to patients regarding their appointments and care plans.
Qualifications:
- Any graduate– English Medium Only
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a US tele calling / support functions.
- Excellent English Communication Skills- Written and Verbal
- Proven experience with of working with US consumers. If you have experience of working in Healthcare, Patient Support, it would be good to have.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively without direct supervision.
- A dedicated home office setup (Laptop/ Headphone) with a reliable internet connection.
