Job Summary

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines used for cutting, shaping, and finishing marble and stone materials according to design specifications. The operator ensures high-quality production, efficient machine operation, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines used for cutting, engraving, and shaping marble and stone materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and CAD/CAM files.
• Set up machine parameters including tool selection, speed, feed rate, and cutting paths.
• Load marble slabs or blocks onto CNC machines using proper handling methods.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure precision and quality of finished products.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to the maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate production records and job tracking.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and quality control teams.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification in CNC machining or mechanical field.
• Experience operating CNC machines (preferably in marble, granite, or stone industry).
• Ability to read technical drawings and CNC programs.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of measuring tools and precision instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
