Collection Officer

POSITION: Collection Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contact clients/customers via phone calls to follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
• Manage and update customer account information in the system.
• Perform invoice verification and analysis to resolve discrepancies and track overdue accounts.
• Record accurate and complete data entries of communication, payment commitments, and collection outcomes.
• Respond to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Generate collection reports and maintain daily logs.
• Assist in streamlining the collection process for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and data confidentiality guidelines.

SKILLS:

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken Urdu and English.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and invoice management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other data entry tools.
• Ability to handle client objections and negotiate payment terms.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in customer support or collection will be an added advantage.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in collections or customer service preferred.
