Commercial Escrow Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Escrow Accountant to support our Real Estate Development Department in handling a range of regulatory, administrative, and financial processes essential to our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Dubai’s real estate development procedures and be capable of independently managing approval processes, TAS system operations, and escrow account supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Approvals & Coordination:

Coordinate and facilitate all necessary approvals and permits related to real estate development including:

Project registration

Liaise with government authorities such as DLD, RERA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.

Ensure timely submission and tracking of documents to meet project deadlines.

TAS System Management:

Operate and manage the TAS (Trust Account Services) system for each project.

Oversee the end-to-end payment process through TAS:

Monitor and submit bank transactions

Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of daily transactions

Collaborate with internal teams and banking partners

Manage the escrow account operations in line with DLD regulations:

Ensure funds are released in accordance with project milestones

Submit required financial reports and compliance documents

Compliance & Reporting:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE real estate and escrow laws.

Prepare and submit compliance reports and related documentation to authorities.

Requirements:

Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in Dubai’s real estate development sector

Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Dubai property development approval process and TAS/escrow systems

License: Valid UAE driving license

Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and TAS or equivalent escrow management platforms

Prior experience dealing with DLD, RERA, and other Dubai government entities
