Metafora Search is exclusively partnered with a start up Project Logistics business, within the Middle East, who are looking to grow their sales division.

They are currently seeking a Commercial Manager - Project Logistics to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis in the UAE.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Manager - Project Logistics to lead the commercial strategy, bid management, and contract negotiation activities across complex, high-value logistics projects in the UAE and wider GCC region.

This role is pivotal in securing and managing large-scale EPC, energy, infrastructure, renewables, and industrial project cargo opportunities. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with deep operational understanding of heavy lift, breakbulk, out-of-gauge (OOG), and multimodal transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Project Logistics across the UAE and GCC.
• Identify and secure new project opportunities within energy (oil & gas, renewables), infrastructure, mining, and industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, project owners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation of RFQs, RFPs, and large-scale project tenders.

About You

• 8-12+ years' experience in freight forwarding, heavy lift, breakbulk, or project logistics.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale project tenders in the Middle East.
• Strong experience working with EPC contractors and energy/infrastructure clients.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate high-value, complex contracts.
