Commis Pastry Chef

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation.
  • Support daily mise en place and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Contribute ideas for new recipes and seasonal menus.
  • Uphold consistency in taste, texture, and visual appeal.
  • Collaborate with the team to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Requirements

  • Previous experience or training in pastry.
  • Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and culinary terminology.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
