Commodity Trader Exporter /Supply Chain(REMOTE)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Commodity Trader to manage trading activities for essential commodities such as Wheat, Maize, Rice, Salt, and other agricultural/industrial products. The role requires strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to build reliable supplier and buyer networks.

Key Responsibilities:
One must have excellent grip on import and export and supply chain management or Indepedent Exporter

• Develop and execute trading strategies for commodities (Wheat, Maize, Rice, Salt, etc.).
• Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, and demand–supply dynamics.
• Negotiate purchase and sales agreements with suppliers, distributors, and clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international partners.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
• Monitor risks, currency fluctuations, and logistical challenges in trading operations.
• Coordinate with finance and logistics teams for smooth execution of contracts.
• Prepare regular reports on trading performance and profitability.

Job Specification – Commodity Trader

Education:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–4 years in commodity trading, procurement, or related field.
• Experience in agricultural commodities (preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Market research and forecasting ability.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and trading/ERP tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
