POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Communications, Social Media and Sales Officer (CSMSO) is responsible for leading digital marketing and social media activities to promote services and increase sales. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service excellence, and creativity in digital marketing. The CSMSO is responsible for consistent and professional engagement with the public via traditional and virtual media platforms, as well as creation of high-quality promotional and marketing materials, as well as direct outreach to corporate clients. S/he will work closely with senior staff to ensure that all Amideast activities are promoted in a timely and effective manner, through both traditional and new media. A particular focus will be on targeting virtual communities and network users to achieve superior customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of digital media that result in sales. The position is full-time and includes regular office hours to be determined in consultation with the Country Director.
