The Role
We are currently recruiting for a government entity in Abu Dhabi for an experienced Corporate Governance / Company Secretarial Professional on a contract basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This position supports corporate governance, statutory compliance, and entity management, ensuring accurate records and timely Board and Committee documentation in line with UAE regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities 1. Prepare Board and Committee agendas, minutes, resolutions, and governance reports. 2. Maintain accurate, compliant governance documentation and statutory registers. 3. Coordinate meeting logistics, schedules, and stakeholder communications. 4. Support UAE regulatory filings, license renewals, and statutory submissions. 5. Manage entity incorporation, amendments, and renewals across jurisdictions. 6. Maintain organised and compliant entity records and governance files. 7. Assist with governance policies, charters, and framework updates. 8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide governance guidance. 9. Monitor regulatory developments and support governance and compliance reporting

Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Governance, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 2. Professional certification (ICSA / CGI) strongly preferred. 3. Fluent Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory. 4. Minimum 8+ years’ experience in corporate governance, company secretarial, or compliance roles. 5. Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks, including ADGM and DIFC. 6. Excellent drafting, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. 7. Must have prior UAE experience and be based in Abu Dhabi. 8.
