Compliance Officer

Company: American Safety Power Tool (A Leading PPE Manufacturer)
Location: Karachi Export Processing Zone - Landhi

About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Compliance Officer to ensure our factory operations fully adhere to local labor laws, international social compliance standards, and specific customer codes of conduct. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and auditing our systems to uphold ethical practices and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, and uphold social compliance standards (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, etc.) and Pakistan Labour Laws.
• Conduct regular internal audits and prepare for external compliance audits by brands and third parties.
• Maintain all required documentation, including personnel files, timesheets, wage records, and health & safety reports.
• Develop and deliver training programs on compliance-related topics for management and workers.
• Liaise with external auditors and brand representatives during inspection visits.
• Identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions to ensure continuous compliance.
• Prepare and submit periodic compliance reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Law, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a compliance role within a garment manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of Pakistan's labour laws, industrial relations, and international social compliance protocols.
