Compliance Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a qualified Compliance Officer to manage internal audits and compliance processes for to ensure system implementation, documentation and certification compliance for all management system (ISO 9001/ 14001/45001, EN 15343, GRS, OK Recycled, etc)

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Certifications:

• Lead internal and external audits related to (ISO 9001/ 14001/ 45001, EN 15343, GRS, OK Recycled, etc)
• Prepare and maintain documentation required for certification and surveillance audits.
• Develop SOPs and QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) manuals.
• Coordinate with third-party auditors and certification bodies.
• Monitor compliance registers and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
• Oversee GRS Chain of Custody and traceability documentation for recycled materials.

Health & Safety:

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Develop and implement risk assessments, PPE protocols, and emergency response plans.
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with national health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide training and safety inductions to all staff and contractors.
• Maintain safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, signage, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in HSE or Compliance roles (manufacturing/industrial preferred).
• Working knowledge of (ISO 9001/ 14001/ 45001, EN 15343, GRS, OK Recycled, etc) compliance systems.
• Strong command of regulatory requirements and audit processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, documentation, and training skills.
