Construction Manager

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage all on-site activities across our development projects. This role entails supervising contractors and site engineers, ensuring timely project execution, maintaining safety standards, and delivering exceptional quality in accordance with project specifications and TLD standards.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations on construction sites for multiple residential and commercial projects.
• Oversee site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure compliance with the construction schedule, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor project milestones, track progress, and provide site updates to senior management.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure high standards of work.
• Review and validate construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications prior to execution.
• Ensure adherence to legal guidelines, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead weekly progress meetings with internal teams and contractors.
• Manage construction budgets and cost control in collaboration with the project control team.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience (Competencies Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience managing mid-to-large-scale residential or mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
