Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the daily on-site activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Ensure compliance of all MEP installations with approved shop drawings, technical specifications, local authority regulations, and safety codes.
- Coordinate closely with civil, architectural, and structural teams to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems within the overall project.
- Track and report progress of MEP works, identify potential delays, and recommend solutions to maintain project schedules.
- Conduct routine site inspections to monitor quality and safety, issuing corrective actions where necessary.
- Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and workforce to resolve site execution issues.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across all MEP-related site operations.
- Review and validate shop drawings, coordination layouts, material submittals, and method statements.
- Organize and supervise testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems ensuring they are fully operational and defect-free.
- Maintain detailed documentation of site activities including manpower, materials, and daily work reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
- Attend project meetings to provide updates, raise concerns, and align with stakeholders.
- Support post-installation activities including troubleshooting, monitoring, and system handovers.
Requirements & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP site supervision on villa developments, high-rise buildings, or large-scale projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of systems including:
- HVAC
- Electrical (LV/MV)
- Drainage & Water Supply
- Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm
- Familiarity with GCC building codes, safety regulations, and site compliance protocols (Bahrain-specific knowledge is a plus).
- Proven ability to lead site teams and coordinate across multiple trades and disciplines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; knowledge of Revit or MEP coordination tools is a plus.
- Strong ability to read and interpret MEP schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
