About the Role
At Boyd Jones, jobsite leadership drives project success. We’re seeking a Superintendent who brings disciplined planning, strong technical expertise, and a steady commitment to safety, quality, and predictable project execution.
This role is ideal for a field leader who takes work seriously, values clear expectations, and leads teams with consistency and professionalism. The Superintendent represents Boyd Jones on site and sets the standard for how work is planned, executed, and followed through.
What You'll Be Accountable For
Leading Safety Performance on the Jobsite
You will own jobsite safety by integrating safety planning into daily operations and holding teams accountable for safe execution.
Lead safety planning and daily safety discussions
Ensure hazards, near misses, and incidents are documented and addressed
Hold crews and trade partners accountable for safe work practices
Delivering Quality Work the First Time
You will lead quality execution across all phases of the project to prevent defects and minimize rework.
Execute the Quality Management Plan
Ensure work aligns with drawings and contract documents
Identify and correct quality issues early
Planning, Scheduling & Coordination
You will lead disciplined planning to ensure reliable workflow and schedule performance.
Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules
Facilitate coordination meetings with trade partners
Identify schedule risks and implement recovery strategies
Driving Technical Execution in the Field
You will apply technical knowledge and constructability expertise to guide field operations.
Resolve complex field issues with sound judgment
Plan sequencing, logistics, and site access
Support productive, well-coordinated jobsite operations
Leading Teams & Building Strong Partnerships
You will lead field teams and represent Boyd Jones to clients, inspectors, and trade partners.
Communicate expectations clearly with crews and subcontractors
Work closely with Project Managers to manage schedule and risk
Maintain professional relationships with owners, inspectors, and partners

This role is suited for leaders who value preparation, technical expertise, and consistent follow-through.
Qualifications
7+ years of commercial construction field experience, including leadership as a Foreman, General Foreman, or Superintendent
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, safety practices, and subcontractor coordination
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documents
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience using construction technology such as Procore, digital plans, tablets, and scheduling tools
OSHA 30 certification required
Ability to work safely on active construction sites
