Consultant Internal Medicine

Job Description :

• Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and ward-based medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, formulate treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with institutional clinical protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all patient care activities.
• Participate actively in clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, contributing to quality improvement measures and best clinical practices.
• Supervise, guide, and provide clinical oversight to Medical Officers and Senior Medical Officers as part of routine patient care.
• Respond to and manage medical emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate clinical intervention.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
• Participate in clinical audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and case discussions to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage in continuous medical education (CME) activities to stay updated with advancements in internal medicine and clinical best practices.

Qualification :
MBBS & Postgraduate qualification (FCPS in Internal Medicine) with a valid PMC registration

Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of post-FCPS work experience in a tertiary care hospital as a practicing Consultant.
