About the Role

Are you an experienced editor or content lead with PR expertise, seeking a more strategic role where your ideas, influence and craftsmanship drive the content and communications strategy for a global financial leader? At Liquidity, you’ll step beyond ordinary copywriting and execution, becoming the visionary architect of our communications lifecycle, from shaping campaign concepts and messaging frameworks to overseeing every detail of delivery and evaluation. Responsibilities

  • Create, edit and adapt written content for a wide range of formats, including website, case studies, newsletters, social media platforms, internal communications, reports, promotional copy and materials.
  • Lead the development, execution and ongoing refinement of Liquidity’s PR lifecycle from campaign planning, messaging, delivery, stakeholder engagement and results evaluation and reporting.
  • Oversee agency relationships and workflows; provide strategic direction, briefings, and feedback for all outsourced PR projects and agency collaborations.
  • Apply Liquidity’s tone of voice to all communications, maintaining consistency, quality and brand integrity across every channel and document.
  • Develop and manage communications calendars, editorial plans and campaign timelines to ensure timely completion of deliverables and alignment with firm priorities.
  • Identify, evaluate and maximise speaking engagement and event participation opportunities to advance spokesperson strategies in alignment with Liquidity’s thought leadership plans.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, internal teams and key stakeholders to source compelling stories and insights and turn them into impactful narrative assets for multiple audiences.
  • Evaluate and report on PR and communications effectiveness, using both qualitative insights and measurable data to optimise future activities and inform executive decision-making.
  • Working closely with VP Marketing and Strategic Communications coordinate and lead crisis and issues communications planning and execution, ensuring rapid, and high-quality stakeholder messaging throughout any challenge or event.
  • Coach and mentor team members and agency partners in best practice messaging and content development.
  • Manage press office and steady flow of approved, company-aligned communications materials.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in communications, PR, editorial management or content strategy role, preferably within financial services.
  • Outstanding writing, editing and content planning skills; creative and able to adapt narrative style for varied channels and target audiences with precision and impact.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing end-to-end PR campaign cycles from ideation through evaluation.
  • Adept at briefing and managing agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and delivery of quality outputs.
  • Deep familiarity with financial terminology, market dynamics and the broader financial industry. Knowledge of venture capital (VC), private equity (PE) and institutional investors a plus.
  • Proven ability to drive and evaluate thought leadership, event participation, spokesperson programmes and executive communications.
  • Confident, self-driven professional with strong organisation and time management skills; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, story mining and interpersonal skills to collaborate across regions and functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Finance or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must.
