Job Summary:
The Content Coordinator will support the marketing team by executing content strategies, managing asset collection, and coordinating the production of marketing materials. This entry-to-mid-level role is crucial for gathering job site documentation from our Locations and working with our outside marketing firm to transform these assets into usable content for our website, social media, and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Collection & Curation: Serve as the primary liaison to Location offices for collecting job site images, project descriptions, and technical documentation (white papers).
  • Asset Management: Organize, catalog, and maintain all digital assets in a central repository or Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • External Firm Coordination: Act as the point of contact with our external marketing agency, delivering raw content assets, communicating feedback, and ensuring deadlines for content production are met.
  • Content Production Support: Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading content created internally and by the outside firm, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Social Media & Web Maintenance: Schedule and post content on social media channels and perform basic website updates via a CMS (Content Management System).
  • Trade Show Assistance: Coordinate the logistics and physical materials needed for trade shows and events.
  • Performance Tracking Support: Gather data on content performance and compile reports for the Marketing Director.

Typical Requirements

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred, though not always required for entry-level positions.

Skill Sets:

  • Hard Skills:
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite).
  • Experience with basic photo editing or graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is beneficial.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple projects and assets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a B to B marketing, communications, or related support role. Internship experience is highly valued.
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors or agencies is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with a construction or contracting business is a plus

Location could be flexible depending on proximity to one of our other locations.**

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
