Content Creator
to join our team. The ideal candidate can function as a reliable member of a production team or as a "one-person production crew" who can ideate, plan, prepare, shoot, and edit quickly to produce a steady stream of compelling video, motion and photographic content for various social media platforms. You will help turn story concepts into scroll-stopping visuals that inform, educate, entertain and drive brand awareness, while ensuring all content aligns with our brand identity objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production & Planning
: Partner with Social Media team to brainstorm content ideas, create initial storylines, develop storyboards and shot lists, prep/stage props and scenes.

Production
(Shooting): Capture video and photos, handling lighting, audio, staging and equipment setup in-studio or on-location when functioning as a sole creator, or collaborating with other designers, art directors and producers when creating content as part of a team.

Post-Production
(Editing): Organize and hand-pick footage and stills, edit into polished and engaging content using software like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or social media platform editing tools, incorporating music, captions, and creative effects.

Optimization
: Tailor video and motion content to specific platform needs, creating platform-first formats that drive engagement and conversion.

Brand Consistency
: Maintain brand aesthetic requirements for all assets based on brand identity objectives and platform mandatories.

Project Management
: Maintain tasks, work and asset delivery calendar; coordinate shoot schedule with resources and studio reservations; coordinate content review and approval; meet deadlines and facilitate file delivery.

Analytics & Trend Monitoring
: Collaborate with Social Media team to understand content performance and integrate learnings into future productions.

Platform and Technical Knowledge Sharing
: Willingness to share new tips, tricks and best practices with the broader creative team.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong portfolio of published assets showcasing skills in video conceptualization, production and editing in a social media context.

Demonstratable technical proficiency in camera operation using BlackMagic and/or Canon R platform mirrorless cameras; video editing software (Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro) and social platform editing tools; lighting and studio production equipment; sound equipment and audio software such as Adobe Audition; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; Generative A.I. platforms.

A strong visual approach to storytelling with a solid understanding of composition, lighting, pacing, transitions and sound; effective visual communication using storyboards created by hand or using generative tools. Ability to create a multitude of short form videos from a limited set of existing clips.

Understanding of social media systems and algorithms, specifically TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Short and long-form video.

Experience: 2-3 yrs experience in content creation, social media, video production or a related role.

Organization: highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while still being responsive to internal customers. Positively collaborate with other creatives as well as work independently, manage incoming requests, manage assets and ensure proper file storage, maintain a reference library of video clips.
