Are you a detail-driven communicator with a passion for technical writing and content strategy? APA - The Engineered Wood Association is seeking a Content Manager to lead the creation and management of high-impact content that supports our mission and marketing goals.

About the Role

As our Content Manager, you will be at the heart of APA's communications, developing technical publications, promotional articles, newsletters, website content, and more. You will collaborate across divisions and with external contributors to ensure our messaging is clear, accurate, ad aligned with our brand.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a knack for translating complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible content.

What You Will Do

• Lead publication development: Write, edit, and manage technical documents, and promotional materials.
• Create compelling content: From blog posts and case studies to video scripts and member communications.
• Manage newsletters: Curate, build, and distribute monthly and quarterly newsletters using HTML and Zoho CRM.
• Support web content: Maintain and optimize website content with SEO best practices.
• Proofread and edit: Ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy across all written materials.

Requirements:

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, technical writing, communications, or related field.
• 3 + years of experience in technical writing or content creation.
• Proven ability to write for technical and promotional audiences.
• Experience with HTML, CRM systems, and content management platforms.
• Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Bonus Points For:

• Knowledge of engineered wood products or the construction industry
• Experience working with remote teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
