Content Writer & Social Media Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute monthly social media content (minimum 22 posts per month) aligned with GOSI objectives.
  • Write and adapt content across multiple touchpoints including social media, app content, brochures, SMS and push notifications.
  • Support programme awareness, partner offers and event-led campaigns through structured social media plans.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (Ethos account team, design, customer service) and GOSI counterparts to ensure timely delivery of content and approvals.
  • Manage day-to-day project coordination, including timelines, content tracking and follow-ups, to ensure smooth execution across all deliverables.
  • Provide live and post-event content coverage for up to four (4) GOSI events per year (included within scope, unpaid).
  • Manage community management across social platforms, responding to comments and escalating issues to Customer Service when required.
  • Work closely with the wider GOSI and Ethos teams while operating as part of a dedicated on-site unit.

Qualifications

Required Qualification

  • 3–4 years’ experience in social media management and content writing.
  • Proven experience managing content calendars and writing for digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of app-based communication and digital user journeys.
  • Experience working with government, semi-government or large institutional clients is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Digitally savvy with strong understanding of social media platforms and mobile-first communication.
  • Clear, concise Arabic and English content writing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work on-site within a client environment.
  • Comfortable working with escalation processes and customer service coordination.
