Role Purpose

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, support business growth, and align with Company strategic objectives across its diverse Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The role ensures consistent brand positioning, data-driven marketing performance, and strong stakeholder engagement across all channels.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing Planning

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with corporate objectives, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research by analyzing customer insights, competitive benchmarks, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and measurable return on investment (ROI).
  • Define and strengthen brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency across all internal and external communication channels.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies in coordination with sales, business development, and product teams to support product launches and promotional initiatives.
  • Forecast market demand through analytical models to anticipate customer needs and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders to support co-branding, joint initiatives, and thought leadership activities.

2. Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, paid advertising, content marketing, and email campaigns, to enhance corporate visibility and engagement.
  • Manage the company’s social media presence by developing content calendars, monitoring engagement, and optimizing performance metrics.
  • Monitor and enhance corporate website performance by analyzing traffic trends, user behavior, and overall user experience.
  • Drive lead generation through data-driven marketing automation and CRM integration to support business development objectives.
  • Develop and manage content strategies, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership materials, positioning as an industry leader.

3. Brand Management & Public Relations

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials by developing and enforcing brand guidelines.
  • Manage corporate reputation through media relations, press releases, and crisis communication planning.
  • Monitor brand perception through surveys, media tracking, and social listening, adjusting messaging as needed.
  • Oversee sponsorships, partnerships, and events that align with strategic positioning and brand objectives.

4. Marketing Performance & Analytics

  • Measure marketing effectiveness using KPIs such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI), and brand equity indicators.
  • Generate actionable insights using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and Power BI dashboards.
  • Apply A/B testing methodologies to optimize content, campaigns, messaging, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare comprehensive marketing performance reports and executive presentations for senior leadership.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Management

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Business Development, Sales, Finance, HR, and department heads, to ensure alignment and cross-functional success.
  • Build and manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, consultants, and vendors, ensuring service quality and contractual compliance.
  • Coordinate internal marketing and communication initiatives in collaboration with HR to support employee engagement and internal branding.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, advertising standards, and legal requirements across all marketing activities.

6. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Marketing & Communication Specialist through clear objectives, performance feedback, and development planning.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance team culture.
  • Define KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and ensure accountability for results.
  • Improve team efficiency through effective project management, workflow optimization, and delegation.
  • Promote continuous learning, skill development, and alignment with culture and values.

7. Event Management & Trade Shows

  • Plan and execute internal and external events, exhibitions, and conferences, managing logistics, sponsorships, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Evaluate event effectiveness through attendee feedback, engagement metrics, and post-event analysis to improve future initiatives.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in marketing roles, preferably within multi-industry or conglomerate organizations.
  • Proven expertise in strategic marketing, brand management, and digital transformation.
  • Strong background in content marketing, public relations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with digital analytics tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CIM or AMA are an advantage
