Contract Management Specialist

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, amendments, and renewals for public health programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with deliverables, budgets, timelines, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, legal, program teams) and external partners to facilitate contract development and implementation.
  • Track key contract milestones, deadlines, and reporting requirements using contract management systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions for non-compliant contractors.
  • Ensure proper documentation and records management according to state and federal audit standards.
  • Assist in the development of procurement documents such as RFPs, RFAs, and RFQs.
  • Support annual budget planning and grant reporting related to contracted services.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Management Sciences, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any other field related to Contract Management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or grant administration, preferably in a public health or government setting.
  • Language : Arabic and English must
  • Strong knowledge in Contract Management in Public Health
  • Strong knowledge of contracting principles, including state/federal compliance, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software (e.g., DocuSign, Coupa, or similar).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
