Contract Manager

The Contract Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of contracts, covering pre-contract (strategy and negotiation) and post-contract (administration, control, and claims) phases.

The role ensures that all contractual and commercial aspects of projects are effectively managed to protect the company’s interests, minimize risk, and support successful project delivery in line with financial, legal, and operational objectives.


ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Lead pre-contract activities, including contract strategy, scope structuring, and risk allocation
  • Support contract negotiations, ensuring optimal commercial terms and alignment with company objectives
  • Administer and manage all project contracts (EPC, subcontract, consultancy, supplier) throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure contract compliance with all terms, conditions, and legal requirements
  • Manage variations, change orders, and contract amendments, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
  • Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks across all phases
  • Prepare and manage claims and disputes (EOT, cost claims, variations), including evaluation and negotiation
  • Monitor contract performance and deliverables against agreed KPIs and obligations
  • Provide contractual support to project teams on delays, changes, and commercial matters
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation, reporting, and audit-ready records


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • 8–12 years of experience in contract management within construction, infrastructure, or data center projects.
  • Strong experience across pre- and post-contract phases.
  • Proven expertise in EPC and FIDIC based contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience in claims and dispute resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC and international contract frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Law, Construction Management, or related field.
