Contracting Manager

Job Overview
Benavest is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracting Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts across the organization. This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts with vendors, clients, and partners to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and support business objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong legal and business acumen, experience in contract management, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including vendor agreements, client contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
  • Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, renewal, and termination
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks and escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain a centralized contract repository and ensure accurate recordkeeping
  • Collaborate with legal counsel, finance, procurement, and operations teams
  • Track key contract terms, obligations, deadlines, and renewal dates
  • Support contract audits and compliance reviews
  • Develop and improve contract management processes and workflows
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract terms and conditions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or legal operations
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services, investment firms, or corporate environments
  • Familiarity with contract management software (e.g., DocuSign CLM, Ironclad, ContractWorks)
  • Paralegal certification or legal background is a plus
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders

Pay: $61,106.81 - $73,591.00 per year
