CONTRACTS MANAGER

WE ARE HIRING – CONTRACTS MANAGER

Location: Qatar
Industry: Infrastructure / Roads / Drainage

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contract and commercial management across multiple large-scale infrastructure project sites in Qatar.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, deliverables, and requirements.
• Draft, review, and respond to formal contractual correspondence to protect the company's contractual and commercial position.
• Identify contractual and project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead the preparation and negotiation of claims, variations, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Ensure project activities comply with contract conditions, Qatar regulations, and company policies.
• Support the negotiation and resolution of contractual disputes through appropriate mechanisms.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Lead and mentor contract administrators and commercial teams across project sites.
• Manage Cost-Plus Contracts, including cost tracking, payment mechanisms, and transparency of reimbursable works.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Proven experience in large-scale roads, infrastructure, and drainage projects is essential.
• Experience with PWA / Ashghal projects is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Cost-Plus, Lump Sum, and other common construction contract types.
• MRICS, MCIOB, CIArb, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills.
