Contracts Manager - Infrastructure Project

Job Summary:

Mind Stream is seeking a highly experienced Contracts Manager to join a major infrastructure project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering contracts, managing claims and variations, mitigating contractual risks, and supporting dispute resolution across multiple large-scale infrastructure project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer contracts across multiple project sites, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contractual correspondence and documentation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
• Prepare and manage claims, variations, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Support and manage dispute resolution processes, including negotiation and mediation.
• Ensure proper contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Contracts and Commercial Management on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in roads, infrastructure, and drainage projects.
• Strong expertise in construction contract administration and commercial management.
• In-depth knowledge of construction law and standard contractual frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with Cost-Plus Contracts will be an added advantage.
