Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
• Mix and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, with professionalism and flair
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bar areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes or drink recipes based on current trends and guest preferences
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to streamline service
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing excellent food service experience
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to promote safety and hygiene

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or bartending within a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
• Skilled in knife skills, meal preparation, and culinary techniques suitable for fine dining environments
• Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Knowledge of menu planning, catering services, and food industry standards is desirable

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
