Role Overview:

The Corporate / Travel Trade Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through corporate team-building activities, travel trade partnerships, and corporate events. This role involves developing and managing relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and (DMCs) to secure group bookings, event packages, and corporate partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of corporate sales, event planning, and the travel trade market.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Sales & Events:

  • Identify, target, and secure corporate clients for events, team-building activities, group bookings, and exclusive experiences.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets within the corporate events and team-building sector.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals and pitch presentations that highlight the value of the venue’s offerings for corporate events.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring profitable deals and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the operations and events teams to ensure flawless execution of corporate events, from planning to post-event follow-up.

Travel Trade & Partnerships:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting the travel trade sector to maximize ticket sales and group bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and DMCs to promote the venue and secure package deals.
  • Negotiate contracts, commission structures, and incentive programs with travel trade partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth within the travel trade sector.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase offerings and attract potential partners.
  • Provide training and support to travel agents and tour operators to ensure they are well-informed about the venue’s products and packages.

Customer Relationship & Marketing Support:

  • Oversee and optimize CRM strategies to ensure accurate data capture, segmentation, and targeted communication.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in sales and engagement.
  • Develop and execute CRM campaigns to drive customer loyalty, upsell opportunities, and repeat business from corporate clients and travel trade partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create B2B materials, promotional offers, and trade communications tailored to corporate and travel trade audiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate sales, MICE, or travel trade sales, preferably in the theme park, hospitality, or tourism sectors.
  • Strong network of corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and DMCs.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue through strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows, partner meetings, and other business-related activities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of international travel markets and distribution channels.
  • Experience in managing large-scale corporate events and group bookings.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales management tools.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative sales strategies.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and lead generation techniques.
