Crane Operator (15 Tons-500 Tons)

Location
Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan

Qualification
  • HTV license is required along with Third party certification for operation of all Mobile cranes KATO, Tadano, XCMG, Grove & SANY Cranes & with specific experience in operation of 15 to 100 Tons capacity cranes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional training or certification in crane operation is preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum of 5 -10 years of experience as a crane operator, with proficiency in operating large-capacity cranes in construction or along with Load chart awareness.
  • Age Limit: Less than 50 years

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of load charts, rigging, and lifting techniques.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and crane operation safety standards.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure the crane is in good working condition.
  • Operate cranes to lift, move, or position loads as per site requirements.
  • Read and interpret load charts, work orders and signal instructions.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication and minor repairs and report major malfunctions to maintenance staff.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and RDMC procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with riggers, signalers, and supervisors to coordinate lifting activities.
  • Monitor crane operation to detect problems and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Set up cranes at job sites, ensuring proper leveling, blocking, and stabilizing based on ground conditions and lift requirements.
  • Follow lifting plans and assist in planning lifts involving complex or heavy loads.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and inspections completed.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations, such as mechanical failure or hazardous conditions, promptly and appropriately.
