Curriculum Designer – Healthcare Training Programs

About Us
Gabriel Health Institute is a leading CNA & PCT school in Central Florida, training thousands of students for careers in healthcare over the past 12 years. We are expanding into new programs and seeking a Curriculum Designer to create engaging, student-centered curriculum for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), and Phlebotomy programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design student-focused learning materials including lesson plans, slides, activities, assessments, and clinical/lab guides.
  • Develop content that aligns with the overall program framework and supports seamless progression across CNA, PCT, and Phlebotomy programs.
  • Ensure instructional design supports Florida CIE/state requirements and national certification standards.
  • Modularize curriculum for flexible delivery (in-person, hybrid, and online).
  • Collaborate with our RN Program Director and faculty to maintain compliance and integrate real-world practice.
  • Continuously improve curriculum based on student outcomes and instructor feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience designing curriculum for healthcare, vocational, or adult education programs.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accreditation/compliance requirements for allied health programs a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

  • Can you describe your experience designing curriculum for healthcare, vocational, or adult education programs? Have you worked with CNA, PCT, or Phlebotomy before? HAve you ever worked in the Florida regulatory environment?
