Position Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our customers. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience with every interaction. The ideal candidate loves helping people, thinks quickly on their feet, and communicates clearly across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and social media.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction and resolution.
- Troubleshoot common technical or product issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate department.
- Process orders, forms, returns, exchanges, and account updates accurately.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM.
- Provide proactive follow-up to ensure complete resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Share customer feedback and insights with internal teams (product, sales, marketing) to improve processes.
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics (response time, resolution rate, CSAT scores).
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1+ years of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, call center, or similar).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong active listening and empathy skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Basic proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly.
Preferred
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom).
- Bilingual (fluency in [second language] is a plus).
- Previous experience in [industry-specific context, e.g., e-commerce, SaaS, healthcare].
