DATA ANALYST

The expert is responsible for turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. They will interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports. The expert will lead on the development of reports and dashboards for the MoPASS M&E system.

Key Tasks:

• Collect and interpret data from various sources.
• Analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports.
• Develop and implement databases and data collection systems.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Scope and define requirements for reports and dashboards with clients
• Implement and test reports and dashboards

Qualifications:

• Education/Training : - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
• Language: - English and Urdu at C1 level or above
• General Professional Experience :
• 5 years knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks). (4 points)
• 5 years of knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.). (3 points)
• 5 years experience of collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy (3 points)
• Specific Professional Experience:
• 3 years of working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst. (4 points)
• 2 years of technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques. (4 points)
• 1 year of experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. (2 points)
• Leadership/Management Experience: - Not applicable
• International professional experience outside the country/region of assignment : 1 years Experience working internationally
• Professional experience in the country/region of assignment :
• 2 years of experience working in Pakistan
• Development cooperation experience: 1 year experience working with development cooperation partners.
