Extract data as requested from all sources and systems of Gulf Air and analyze the information in order to gain accurate results to be able to make proper presentations for the executive management's perusal.
Participate in the development of Business and Artificial Intelligence A/I applications inline with departmental requirements.
MAIN DUTIES
1.Develop and implement data collection and processing procedures to guarantee data integrity.
2.Analyze business requirements and processes and provide recommendations to the concerned department for implementation.
3.Extract the required data from all relevant sources made available by different sources (Oracle, AMOS, movement manager etc).
4.Filter the extracted data using different software such as Excel, Power BI, and any other relevant package.
5.Analyze the extracted data to achieve valuable insights.
6.Review, organize and transform the final datasets to derive information and actionable knowledge.
7.Research the purpose of the different visualizations available and incorporate them in the dashboard designs.
8.Create charts and statistics, and design dashboards to present business KPIs to the management.
9.Collaborate with IT and Digital Transformation teams to automate data extraction and improve data quality across systems.
10.Develop and manage IT driven business intelligence solutions for the division through collaborating with IT and Digital Transformation teams to automate data extraction and improve data quality across systems.
11.Collaborate with all related departments to collect data and provide reports to improve business processes.
12.Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented software and propose alternative developments, solutions and approaches.
13.Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal sources (e.g., systems, engagement surveys, performance tools, etc.).
14.Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
15.Provide regular and ad-hoc analysis to support executive decision-making, maintenance operations, planning, and business unit requests.
16.Monitor key KPIs and trends to identify issues, risks, and opportunities.
17.Support the preparation of Board reports and business review presentations with analytical insights and visualizations.
18.Track the different projects and tasks within Technical. Provide relevant statistics, progress using appropriate tools like MS project, MS Loop, MS Planner or dash boards.
19.Contribute to the development of predictive models related to safety statistics, spare parts optimization, economical analysis of contracts, manpower utilization, and employee engagement.
20.Perform any other relevant duties as requested by the management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration or an equivalent documented major/training courses/professional certificates, with experience of 2 years in this field is preferable. Below listed knowledge and abilities are required to perform the job successfully.
