Data Center Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and security of our data center infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, reliability, and performance of systems while leading a team of technical professionals and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data center operations, including servers, networks, and storage systems
• Ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of critical infrastructure
• Manage and maintain power, cooling, and environmental systems
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Monitor system performance and resolve incidents, outages, and escalations
• Lead and supervise data center staff, engineers, and technicians
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and regulatory standards
• Manage vendor relationships and service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Plan capacity, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
• Maintain documentation, reports, and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in data center operations or infrastructure management
• Strong knowledge of servers, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
• Experience with data center facilities (power, cooling, UPS, generators)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR42,000.00 per month
